rough ideas

I've discussed with my lecturer, Ben, about things I might want to incorporate into my Personal Project 1. Vintage advertisements, old photographs or black and white photos juxtaposed with colour, maybe flowers, and rock music. I came up with these after letting my brain go crazy on my messy little sketchbook. Looking at all these items, I noticed I could sort of mesh them up into one thing. All-female bands from the 50s/60s.

I wasn't really sure about what to do with this idea but I know how much I love magazines and magazine layout. But that isn't really pushing the boundaries - so I was thinking..... Zines? Nah..........

I could maybe produce a digital concert somehow - so I was thinking..... does that mean I have to find a bunch of girls and tell them to dress up and basically lip-sync to the music for a video shoot? And then play them on stage so it's sort of a hologram concert. I would have to promote the event, creating some sort of campaign for it - teaser trailer, badges, stickers, flyers, instagram account, facebook account, a blog...
